Giselle, a beautiful young peasant girl who falls for the flirtations of the deceitful and disguised nobleman Albrecht. When the ruse is revealed, the fragile Giselle dies of a broken heart, and Albrecht must face otherworldly consequences.
This two-act ballet is one you will not want to miss. Suitable for all ages and will include a 15-minute intermission.
First premiered in Paris, France in 1841. Original choreography by Jean Coralli & Jules Perrot. Music by Adolphe Adam.
Staging by Nelson Madrigal, Artistic Director.
